PartsTrader is a web-based collision replacement parts market connecting OEM, aftermarket, remanufactured, specialized and recycled automotive parts suppliers with collision repairers looking for replacement parts.
The PartsTrader system has been built to meet the specific needs of the collision replacement parts market, has been tested and guided by input from repairers and suppliers, and is being refined continuously to ensure it runs smoothly and can support heavy use. It is designed for integration with estimatics software, using CIECA industry standards for integration. PartsTrader is working with all industry stakeholders to use the more secure BMS standard to the maximum extent possible.

We understand that in using PartsTrader you are entrusting important data to an online system and we would like to assure you that we are committed to protecting that data. We promise you that we will take the strongest precautions to keep your data secure.
In particular PartsTrader does not provide, and will not provide, repairer buy prices to insurance companies. The only exception is recycled parts where this is required on the estimate so that repairers can get paid.
PartsTrader only uploads State Farm related data automatically, and only the specific vehicle and part information required for the parts procurement process to work effectively. We do not upload any other data in the estimate file. No non-State Farm data will be uploaded unless a repairer chooses to.
For those familiar with EMS, we convert the data required into BMS and only upload the specific parts procurement BMS file. We soon will release an enhancement that allows repairers to upload non-State Farm estimates if they choose to. However, this will be under repairer control on their local PC.
