Noted Industry Professional to Drive Industry Level Analysis
(June 16, 2015 - Chicago, IL) - PartsTrader LLC, the leader in creating efficient and transparent procurement markets for the auto collision repair industry, announced today that it is significantly expanding its industry and customer reporting capabilities. Spearheading this effort for the organization will be industry analyst Michael T. Anderson, the company’s new Director of Decision Sciences.
Anderson is charged with expanding the company’s business analytics and reporting capabilities. With over $1.7 billion of collision parts ordered through the PartsTrader application since the program launched, Anderson will be developing PartsTrader’s next generation of management reporting that provides actionable insights for each PartsTrader customer and the industry at large.
“This initiative is about taking the data and knowledge that PartsTrader has and providing informative and actionable insights for our individual customers and for the industry as a whole. I am excited to have Mike leading our efforts to provide the industry with comprehensive data analysis on current parts procurement practices,” said Rob Cooper, CEO of PartsTrader. “While we are continuing to expand our customer reporting capabilities on an individual company basis, with Mike on the team, we can now focus on providing multi-dimensional views on the state of the collision repair industry.”
Prior to joining PartsTrader, Anderson was the Senior Director of Decision Sciences Business Strategy at AudaExplore, spearheading high value and actionable consulting services to the company’s clients. He also authored several industry publications and was a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
“Leading this initiative for an industry-leading company such as PartsTrader is exciting,” Anderson said. “We have only begun to scratch the surface on how to use data to assist our customers in realizing their business objectives and I’m looking forward to leading an accelerated effort of discovery.”
