PartsTrader Now Integrates with the ProfitNet Shop Management System
PartsTrader and Axalta Coating Systems recently announced the general availability of the new ProfitNetTM Collision Shop Management System (CSMS) interface. This integration is a two-way electronic interface between the ProfitNet Management System and PartsTrader that helps eliminate redundant tasks between the two systems. Key information needed for parts procurement and order status can now be transferred seamlessly between the PartsTrader and ProfitNet systems. Read the press release here.
If your shop uses ProfitNet and would benefit from using the integration, contact YADA Systems at (800) 634-2614 or at [email protected]. While you're working with YADA Systems, don't forget to schedule training. With the integration enabled, you'll be able to prevent duplicate orders, avoid re-keying order information and minimize the screen switching between PartsTrader and ProfitNet. You'll save time, increase your accuracy and maintain workflows within ProfitNet.
There is no charge to enable and use this integration.
   
Update Your BIlling Contacts
It's the end of the year and it's a great time for a little housekeeping to get the New Year off to a fresh start! Please take a moment to validate the Billing Contact in your Company Profile and ensure that monthly invoices are going to the correct person in your Accounts Payable department.
   
    New Features for Suppliers - Easily Identify New Orders and New Customers
With the release of 3.1.10, two new features will allow suppliers to discover new customers and new orders. The Quotes Requested screen now features a New Request filter allowing you to display only these types of requests if desired. The Incoming Orders screen allows you to display only newly requested orders by clicking New Requests..
These filters will help you to quickly identify new customers and new orders.

 
Also with this release, Premier Suppliers will see the Premier Supplier badge when they log into their accounts. Additionally, your repair customers will see if your business has earned Premier Supplier status.

Premier Suppliers have proven they are committed to providing their repair shop customers with a high level of service through the PartsTrader application. This includes responding promptly to quote requests, confirming orders quickly and at quoted prices, and maintaining a high Overall Rating.

Details on the requirements needed to achieve Premier Supplier status can be found on the FAQ page. In addition to highlighting the status to repair shops, Premier Suppliers also receive reduced monthly subscription pricing.
   
New Features for Repairers - Look for the Premier Supplier Badge
With the release of PartsTrader 3.1.10, you will be able to identify suppliers who have earned Premier Suppliers status. Premier Suppliers have proven their commitment to collision repair shops by responding promptly to quote requests, confirming orders quickly at the quoted prices and maintaining a high Overall Rating on the PartsTrader system.

 The Premier Supplier icon will be visible to you on your screen when you are working in the Quote Selection Tool. For more information on the Premier Supplier badge, visit the FAQ page.

 

In addition to the Premier Supplier badge, you will see new direct order options when viewing a list of their required parts. Place a checkmark next to the parts you would like to order, then press the “Direct Order” button underneath the list of parts. The screen below will provide you with new options for direct ordering.
 
 
 

A repairer will see the supplier list when sending a quote request and choosing their OEM dealers. Choosing the options “Premier” and “Any” allow the user to view, edit, and save the list like in the screenshot below. On this screen you can save changes for all jobs or just the individual job.
