Early on that morning we became aware that a recent update to PartsTrader created difficulties for a number of users, affecting success levels when importing and exporting parts lists.

The underlying cause was identified and repaired within a few hours.

Please be assured that our technical team is always on call to keep PartsTrader operating at peak levels.

Supplier Quoting News
New "Exclusion History" delivers intelligent filtering

Thanks to an update to PartsTrader earlier this week, suppliers now have a new filtering option, which can help suppliers see a cleaner list of parts when opening a quote request, allowing staff to quote more efficiently.

Here's how:  "Exclusion History" delivers data to help you set intelligent filtering

You have likely received quote requests that included parts that you don't supply, and you have had to click to manually exclude these parts. Now you will be able to tap into this manual exclusion history and choose to automatically exclude these parts in the future-they will no longer appear in quote requests, and should save you time when quoting.

The setting is controlled within your Company Settings. Click here to learn how to use Exclusion History.

The PartsTrader Team Concept
Ray Padia and Daniel Kemp

While the ever changing dynamics of running your business can feel like a grind at times, we wanted to let you know that you have someone who is here to serve your needs.  PartsTrader Client Service Managers work with our field team to enhance our user's experience with a personal touch.

Our Client Service Managers learn the unique needs of Suppliers and Repairers and are committed to helping businesses that want PartsTrader to become an integral part of their business processes.

One member of our team who you may have spoken with is Daniel Kemp.  Daniel works with repairers that are supported by the West Region of our organization, helping them determine how PartsTrader can best fit into their business processes.  He can often be heard offering training tips or dashboard reviews.

Ray Padia, Regional Sales Manager for the West Region stated, "when I'm visiting shops, it's common to hear compliments from PartsTrader users about the helpfulness of our Client Service Managers checking in with them regularly."

"In one case, I witnessed a repairer partner recognizing an incoming call from PartsTrader, and immediatly asking if it was Daniel Kemp on the line," Padia stated.
