UPDATE:  PartsTrader & CollisionLink for Repairers - COMING SOON!
In July 2015, PartsTrader® and OEConnection® announced a joint project to develop a streamlined workflow for repairers and dealers that use both PartsTrader and CollisionLink® software platforms.   We’re excited to announce that the pilot program is underway with an anticipated nationwide launch in Spring 2016.

Repairers with dealers participating in this pilot will see several benefits:

  • Time savings - Repairers will no longer need to submit the order through CollisionLink to receive available manufacturer-sponsored pricing programs.

  • Increased accuracy - Double orders will be reduced since repairers are no longer entering information into both PartsTrader and CollisionLink.  As a result, fewer returns will be initiated.

  • Easier to access pricing programs - The joint integration automatically identifies any applicable manufacturer-sponsored pricing program available.

When your dealer is on-board, all you need to do is write a competitive estimate as directed by the applicable DRP guidelines requesting both OE and non-OE parts.  Import your estimate into PartsTrader as usual.  Submit your quote request and the integration will handle the rest on the dealer side.

PartsTrader and OEConnection are committed to helping repairers see productivity and profitability gains with this integration.  We’ll send you additional information on the integration, as well as information on participating dealers closer to the official launch.

UPDATE:  PartsTrader & CollisionLink for Dealers - COMING SOON!

Once the integration is available:

  • Time Savings - Participating dealers will see PartsTrader quote requests in their CollisionLink dashboard and any available manufacturer-sponsored pricing programs are identified to you.  Your repairers will no longer have to submit a request outside of PartsTrader.
  • Increased Accuracy - Incoming quote requests will also benefit from the part number verification system built into CollisionLink.  This will help reduce order errors, repair delays and part returns.
  • Easier to access pricing programs - The joint integration automatically identifies any applicable manufacturer-sponsored pricing program available.
PartsTrader and OEConnection are committed to helping dealers see productivity and profitability gains with this integration.  Additional information on this new program will be available closer to a national launch.

Internet Explorer 11 - Is Your Browser Up-To-Date?
On January 12, 2016, Microsoft stopped supporting versions of Internet Explorer 10 and earlier.  What this means is that Microsoft will no longer be sending out security updates, compatibility fixes or technical support for these versions.

While there is no immediate impact on PartsTrader users, we encourage Internet Explorer users to consider upgrading to Internet Explorer 11.  Keeping your software up-to-date with the latest versions allows you to take advantage of better performance.  These browsers are more secure and are considerably faster, saving you time on every page and providing you with a better user experience.
